Hey, one of my mates was adjusting my passenger seat today and it suddenly locked up, and can no longer be adjusted, it can be moved forward as in to let people in the back but simply returns to its original position and the leaver wont move backwards to change the angle. As it is currently laid almost flat it is stopping me from putting passengers in my car.
was just wondering if anyone had had the same prob and how they resolved it?
or if anyone had any suggestions?
it seems as thou the mechanism is completely jammed.

Yeah a few of us have had it, if you can get away with warranty do that, if not like me, I replaced the seat, luckily I had a spare lying around.

Basically is the ratchet system in the seat which breaks and wont latch on, in the position you want it to.

Oh ok cheers greg. in that case, seeing as i dont have any warrenty left, anyone kno where i can get hold of a HDI 1.4 orange 2005 passenger seat? lmao :P

If you can get one from a scrappy do that, I actually have a passenger seat spare, in orange too. Is it a sport seat with the side restraints or a standard one?

ive done a recent rummage round my local scrappies none of them have any c2s lol, and thier standard unfortunatly

ye fair point, im going to citroen garage tonight see if they can give me a quote, but im expecting something ridiculous lol.

last i heard, i think a seat from citroen was in the region of £800? and thats just for a single standard one!
