View Full Version : lowering springs advice&pics

hi folks i bought new lowering springs not so long back,theyre the puma ones thats meant to drop the car 65mm,now ive found my car looks a bit lower but not that much, so i rang were i got them from and theyve said take them off as ive still got the originals and theyl gladly change them for what make i like that will make the car look lower, now this is were i need your help,have any of you got ur cars on just the springs and if so how low and if u dont mind could you put pics up so i could then be helped out in which makes to go for that actually do what theyre meant to drop the car by,as im not happy with these ones as the car looks about 15mm lower than it did standard and not 65mm as its still got good clearance between the wheels and arches,any pics would be great cheers.

with springs i think its all about which c2 you have. maybe why yours wernt so low.

Deffo agree with what that man says....

Mine on 50mm Eibach springs....

....and I think that each car will sit differently on a certain set of springs - maybe someone will correct this !

It also depends on the manufacturer of the springs, better quality.. More expensive.. More likely to do what they say on the box.

if i were you go for the eibachs if your set on springs they give the car a noticeable drop and for the price you cant complain
especially if you get them for 30 quid aye MRH lol
