I have just found a very nice 04 silver VTR with 40k on the clock which I am considering buying. I have never owned a car with semi auto transmission and have some concerns over long term reliability compared to a manual box. I like the idea of paddle changes and the automatic mode but there are some horror stories on the web on reliability issues with the Sensodrive box. Can I please ask for an honest opinion as to members' experiences on this - is the Sensodrive less reliable than a manual box?
Thanks

not too sure, but look on the bright side, if you get a senso, you cant rag it, so no grinding the gear box, wearing away clutch pad quickly, being able to press auto and drive 1 handed wen u cum out of mcdonalds with your drink of coke, things like that etc x
Sensodrive rocks! I had a VTR from 2004 to 2007 and loved it, took it around several trackdays too it was good!
Great fun too, and yes that Auto button IS great when you are coming out of Maccies lol
