fitting head unit to mk2

i know the c2 is multi-flex, does this give you any difficulties? is it just a case of taking out old head unit and putting new one in?

i dont want to disconnect battery and for the time not to be set when i insert new head unit.

you will need an adaptor to fit a headunit in a mk 2. if you search the forums theres loads of threads on this

yeh i have 2 adapters, one for the aerial and another for converting the c2 lead to after market HU. Do i need anymore?

i am looking for other threads too btw, its kinfa urgent tho :(

head unit will work with that, staks wont though

wots the staks? i know it will work but what about the time and date? on the screen will tht be reset to 00:00

sorry i ment stalk, just a typo, no time and date wont reset but you wont be able to change the time and date again without putting the other head unit in

I think he mean the volume stalk aka, steering wheel controls? Some mk2z dont have them standard.
