I can't get it to lock in the upright position and when i went to Citroen i was told it wasn't under warranty and it would cost me as well as labour charges.
Any ideas if not anyone got any interior going cheap?

You got the number please mate?
Mine did this, but citroen wouldn't replace i under warranty.
So I got another seat and switched the frames around.

Ive got a frame sitting in the garage from my 57 plate c2. I bought a whole drivers seat from the scappys with heigh adjustment (which my original didnt have) and fitted it to my car. paid £45 for it.
So i still have my orig frame sitting doing nothing and all the uphoustry (orange) from the previous seat.
if your looking for one I will gladly sell it m8. rachet set and an hour and u can swap them urself m8.
An hour! Did you have tea breaks? I did mine in 15mins!

Always, no point in wasting time :P
i remember this happened to james too and they were going to charge him something along the lines of £800 for a new seat - how lame is that! you can buy a pair of buckets for that price!
Hello M055Y, remember speaking to you on Sunday - keep us posted on how it goes :)

I love it how everything that goes wrong with a car isn't covered under a so called "warranty". I'm beginning to wonder what the point of one is at all.

Indeed Shitroen warranty isn't really worth the worry - Dealerships just want your cash. In this case, for seats it's not going to help, but for many many other issues, try GSF (German, Swedish and French Car parts). They have a good selection.

sew them with back problems ;) as they wouldnt fix your seat... it should be coverds under warranty, only brakes, tyres and exhausts are not (have a short mileage life / 6 months i think?)
Bram on vics account.

This happened to mine once, had to drive home like it.
Get the chair, wiggle it left n right n back n forth. Thats what i was told on here when it happened, and it eventually sorted itself out. Something to do with one of the conectors to the seat adjuster coming lose.
Hope it makes sence, LoL.

I have managed to fix it I guess.
I had removed the seat out of the car, brought home in order to disassemble the plastic covers to get to mechanism. That required fiddling a bit with a lever on the left hand side of the seat - in and out instead of the normal ways it travels. Suddenly something clicked inside the seat and seems to be fine. Every adjustment possible works fine, seat returned to the car and I'm very happy man.
