Just a quick question.
Citroen C2 offset i know to be 15-25, if i was to get a wheel with offset of 40. would that mean the wheel goes further out to the arch or nearer the hub?

mine were et42 with spacers and they sat nicely in the arches. so if you mean without spacers they will prob go in towards the hub

Another question..
The wheels have a bore size of 72mm, so i take it that i will need spigot rings but i cant find any. Does anyone know how to get around this or how to sort this out.

Mine are et40, and you can get away with anything over 10mm spacers. Remember to get hubcentric, and not just washers

Im confused about this offset stuff :s simon did show me pictures. But hopefully someone can clear this up if one wheel is et40 and another et 20 does that mean that when fitted on the same car the et20 wheel will sit further out from the hub than the et40. Because im unsure on wether the rim stays in the same place and the centre part moves or the whole wheel moves..
Patrick you say yours is -1, i know you got your arches rolled and i am getting mine done also to allow the wheels accomodate the Brembos. What was the ET of your wheels and what mm spacers did you use?

My wheels are ET 15 and my spacers 16 mm (so 15 minus 16 is -1 ;-) )

wouldnt that make them 31 Patrick? I thought it was the distance from the back of the alloy that touches the hub to the front face?

Hey Guys,
Here's a link to a really good explanation of this ET debate.
You'll have to scroll down the page slightly

Your working out it wrong chambers. He started with ET 15 put a 16mm spacer on so thats Minus 16 off not onto original. Which leaves him with -1.
Genuine lol at the ET circus.
Read Carpy's link, explains it all rather well.

OK so what is the offset for a stock 04 VTr 1.6 16v alloy wheel and what is the stock spigot diameter ?
The rest is pretty straightforward to work out from there.
Anyone know ?

Bore should be 65.1. The spigot is on the hub.
