As far as I know it works with all C2's but in all honesty, even my dealer has told me its more than over priced, just change the H/U or get an aux input put in, its much cheaper

Yep go for a headunit. I mean the USB Box is a cool toy. But i think its a bout £130 for kit. Plus an hours labour time to program it to the car.

is there any headunits which have a USB input and will work with the stalk control?

£145 god.

you could pic up a decent sony hu with usb or aux input the stalk adapter for
under that price and have the same functions + better sound.

Pioneer, Sony and Kenwood all do decent HUs with a rear USB for £120-£180. Kenwood's also has Bluetooth.

Or you can get one with front mount USB for less (Aldi and Lidl have them for £40). Most will support stalk mounted remotes as well.

I've got one of these.

Really good.

Fitted it myself and got them to programme it in for free. The programming took about 3 minutes.

Add me to MSN if you want more details. If you're close enough i'll come fit it for you.

I'd ask your citroen dealer how much they would charge you to programme it as i am a cheeky bastard and ask for everything for free :)

I got that for my sister as the Citroen Phillips CD Player was on its way out and she uses her SD Card as she uses the card also to play songs on her phone. I would got one for the C3 at the time but I was warey bet in case it messed the locking and the alarm on it and im no good at doing stereos and that like you guys are.

Mind you its on her Megane Scenic now and it hasn't had any problems.

Just thinking about this now, has anyone attempted 2 use an aftermarket H/U with the USB box, cant be that hard to do it. Im going to email the accessories department tomorrow and find out if its possible, try it out on my car. Have a play with the LEXIA :D

I might consider this. Don't fancy changing the standard headunit, as when most fit it it looks shocking..

Recently Citroen installed USB box into new C3 with myway navigation. And after they installed it they told me it doesn't work with my sistem. The problem is i can't navigateon my usb flash drive and the file name doesn't appear. Basicly i have now in my car an expensive usb box that doesn't work properly.

Anybody with the same problem?

I got the Connects2 adaptor that works off the standard head unit

Average price is around 60 notes, but I dropped on a brand new unit for £16.70

Programming required - 30mins @ £84 per hour so all in I should have full Ipod functionality through steering wheel for less than £60 and still retain OEM look
