hes right about the problem mate. I assume you must have the Mk2, you can solder in a couple of resistors to correct it, you can live with it or you can change the LED sidelights to standard bulbs. Alot of people just live with it

Put up and shut up was my moto when I had them

Sorry if you already sorted this mate but on the corsa i just disconnected my Led's and just had the halo's as sidelights. might be different on the C2 Angels but just try disconnecting the wires to the LED's :)

The angel rings are still led's so the error will still show.

yeah to disconnect it would just give even less resistance and more reason for the error to come on

I've just replaced my numberplate bulbs with some LED bulbs, and when I switch the lights off there is still a very dim light coming from them - am I right in thinking that's to do with the car checking to make sure all the bulbs haven't blown? (as above)

I really like the bulbs, and would it be ok to leave them in even though they are constantly on (VERY dim) all the time even when the car is locked up??

If that means they're on after you've turned the car off they may stay on for a bit then go off after a few minutes, my sidelights do it on the angel eyes when I've locked the car.

Easy way to tell if they should have gone off or not is look at the headlight height adjuster switch, that stays lit the same ammount of time and will go out when its timed out, and then so should any other light.

Thanks for your reply.

The lights remain on constantly - I checked after 4 hours!

However, there seems to be 3 levels of light intensity:

1> Normal Operation (when lights are switched on)

2> Dim (remains dim for about 30secs after locking car, same time as the headlight adjustment led stays on)

3> Faint (constant feed to LED lights, only noticeable in complete darkness)

When I unlock the car, the lights go into stage two which I think is quite cool lol. So I might put the bulbs in my sidelights and it looks like an alarm or at least just looks cool when parked up in comparison to other cars lol. Just hope I don't get the warning message on the display.
