I honestly think we have a top chance of lifting the cup :-) It's us, brazil, germany and argentina all the way - they could all win it. I think man for man, we have (almost) as good a squad as brazil, but lack a Ronaldinho. Lucio - Terry, Kaka - Gerrard, gilberto - lampard, ronaldo - owen, adriano - rooney, Dida - robinson.

Argentina are always a great side, and as Adam says you can never write the Germans off at home, even though their team is pretty poor!. Spain and Holland have very good players, but never pull it off as a team.

Come on lads and lasses, get behind sven and the boys and cleberate that cup coming home on July 9th! :-) :-)

Brazil, although i'd like to see the Argentinians and the Italians do well (which i'm sure they will). I think Holland should be on that list too.

The english team is great on paper, but in execution they just don't gel, and with the lack of a decent strike force or a match winning keeper i don't think it's looking too rosy.

Nothing like hardcore England fans getting behind the team :roll:. The biggest enemy for the world cup are the newspapers. They always try and put us down with storys of gambling and affairs. Who cares!!! I know I dont. Rooney can gamble and Sven can carry on shagging like a teenager as long as we play good football!.

I think we have a great team. Some of the best players in the world. I think we have a great chance. Rooney is out for now. He will only miss the first game or so. Defoe or Bent will fill his place and be well up for it. Like Owen was in his first world cup.
Owen is out but when is he in. He is always injured. Cant say i am worried about that.
We have some top young players that would sell there grandma's to play. Give em a chance and we will do well.
