so ok the other day the c2 was losing power in 2nd this went on for a few and today it stopped the car is running perfect but the engine management light is up now and wont go off :mad: this stupid french piece of sh*t is really starting to get me down especially since ive just put 6k into the bodywork :mad:

as above, didnt Adam have the same with his, got it fixed when they changed his coil pack tho

thanx lads i dont bloody get paid for another two weeks so holding off driving it till then....i never thought of the coilpack im praying it just that and not the bloody gear box or clutch :( any ideas how much it'll cost for a new coil????

There are some on ebay!
Citroen will charge £100 i recon for a new coilpack! there quite complex.
I was bidding one one the other day and it went for £5.50

Foudnthe ones for the 1.1 and 1.4 but non for 1.6's at the moment anyway

top bloke tanx for the info craig stupid bloody citroen :( wanted to get the cart lowered and induction kit this month and now gotta get this sorted...would a dodgy coilpack cause it to lose all power wen pulling off and knockin the gear box into second??? happened the other day just the once tho

could do yeah my mates clio coilpack went not too long ago he couldnt drive it anywhere over 20mph wouldnt shift

I had similar symptoms when I had my vts, turned out to be the throttle position sensor! but the coilpack is a pretty common thing by all accounts.

Yeah, my coil pack went, so I replaced it, it started to work fine, but then about a week later it was juddering away again, turned out to be the injectors where f**ked, (took citroen 3 diagnostics to realise this!)
Sounds like you may be in a similar boat?

ok so woke up this morning and the car still had the engine light on but bout 2 oclock today it went off and hasnt come back on and the car feels great its soooo weird

sorry to spoil your day, but that is excatly what happened to me... I completely forgot...
It randomly went off, so I canceled its appointments with citroen, then about 2 days later the car just completely packed in...
there is a thread about it somewhere on here but good luck trying to find it!

so twice today iv switch on the ignition and its made 3 beeps it lets me select 1st 2nd N and reverse but then a snow flake thing comes up on the dash just above where auto is and i get nothing i get a slight rev and then nothing if i reset the ecu tho its fine after that...any one got any advise i got it diagnosed and it came up fault in the fuel injector sensor but i had no warning lights or anything
