19-04-2006, 01:08 PM
yeh and dive into the nearest back street, are they really that hard on window tints?

19-04-2006, 01:09 PM
So is it just a film which is on the inside of the glass then?

hughes741
19-04-2006, 01:11 PM
yes it took them about 3 hours to do it

19-04-2006, 01:17 PM
is it easy to do. does it look ok?

hughes741
19-04-2006, 04:32 PM
it looks quite difficult to get it all right shape and bubbles out . the only reason it took 3 hours is because there was 3 of them working on it otherwise it would have been all day.

at the moment it looks like they have done a fantastic job but will only reallyknow in a few days when its dry.

i am now considering getting some black wheels with polished rims. but first i need to find out if there is much chance of me being able to sell my old ones (about 3 months old) would anyone be interested at £300 for 17"

shewdz
20-06-2006, 11:43 AM
yeah i mite b! depending on condition and whether my 1.1 cud handle them

hughes741
20-06-2006, 11:49 AM
mine is a 1.1 and it handles very nicely . they have very minor kerbing on 1 wheel but hardly noticable. the tyres are all like new and have only done about 400 miles on them

shewdz
20-06-2006, 12:27 PM
got any pics of the damage? do they need spacers, and is the price negotiable?

hughes741
20-06-2006, 12:33 PM
no they dont need any spacers they will just go straight on. i will take a pic of damage later (it is just a couple of tiny chips where the rim meets the tyre). sorry but price is not negotiable
