more than likely built into the fuel pump if cant find it.

Iknow clios have built in filters in the fuel pumps

Under the back seats, take them out you will see rubber things covering the fuel pump and the fuel filter. I believe it is the smaller rubber cover that you need to remove to access the filter.

I remove them every year when I do track days. They take 5-10 minutes max, as long as you have a decent tool set.

They just unbolt, very straight forward. Do the seat part first which will then reveale the bolts for the back wrest sections.

Like I say I do this twice a year, 5-10 minute job, honestly!

just looked on my 1.4i and it as a fuel absorber/filter not just a filter like the diesel's

so on the petrol's don't think ya have to change them

Is the fuel filter in the same location on the 1.6 vtr?

Under my seat there is only the large rubber seal that the fuel pump sits underneath. There is no smaller rubber mount.

My mechanic has looked everywhere else and cannot find it.

Help appreciated.

i know its a pain but you might want to try asking someone at the citroen dealership in the parts section - seems as though theres mixed answers!

i hope its not under the seats as my installs all over it now!!
