Love what you've done with the Gearknob. Even the base if the gear surround looks great in carbin. How did you do that if you dont mind me asking?
i thought it woz lowered more than tha coz it is sittin on the standard 16", so looks smart m8, like the switches lol

I like this carbon - look inside. What is it ? Foliatec ?
crotchrocket
09-04-2006, 06:49 PM
Thanks for the comments, the carbon stuff is from foliatec, doesn't look too un-realistic in the flesh. I put it on the clock surround and the wing mirror tops as well.
The white thing is for my iPod, it runs one way to the iPod and the other to my head unit.
Eye brows are made from a sunstrip :D
Loving it mate, you gotta come to a meet soon, been too long :D
Im not sure about the eyebrows though, but then again i dont like any eyebrows :)

Just a standard halfords sunstrip, £10 and the colour is spot on. They do a silver one too.

was it difficult to do the top grille?
Nope, once you've painted and laquered the new grill, cut the old one out and bond it in place. The tricky part is holding it in place while it sets, i leant a heavy block of wood up against it over night to hold it in place,
So as long as you know how to paint your good to go

Yeah doesn't look too bad, Marx did it on his LX, looked good. Just make sure you do it from where the bonnet ends to the other corner of the light.

Possibly yeah, i have a smart car as a daily driver and its not that great on MPG at all, so theres little point in having such a small car. so was thinking of a 1.4 senso to drive around London and use the Nissan at the weekends

Mate! I still remember our noisy razz up and down the runway at FCS06, and the flashing rear red lights.
Glad to hear you're keeping well.
