cool mate.

Also, it has to be wired so that it switches off when the engine is on mate (excluding sat nav). So watcgin TV/DVD's is out unless youre planning on being "illegal" ;)

Cheers for the info.

Does anyone know how to hook it up so the TV/Dvd will work when the engine is started?
also will this need the lead from autolead so it dosn't screw the C2 up?

p.s. I'll post a few pics of my car on here on wednesday as i am getin a digital camera then.

it will need the lead from autoleads otherwise the car will keep "looking" for the old one and will screw the BUS.

As for hooking up, i'd assume it'd be done in the normal way mate. There must be something in the "destruction" manual you get with it to tell you how.

to wire it up so it works while the car is moving, you need to connect the handbrake wire to a Negative or Earth connection. so just connect it to the earth from the stereo connection 8)

gotta watch out cos having a tv/dvd going in the front while in motion is illegal.

C2 Club does not condone illegal modifications. All modifications carried out are done so at the owner's risk.

out of interest will connecting the handbrake wire to a neg/earth connection not make the light come on all the time, and that bleeping noise?

Hi Ceggy, my C2 just looks normal on the outside like the other one except I got the optional sports spoiler. I was a bit disapointed when Citroen told me I couldn't get coloured wing mirrors  , BUT that wasn't going to stop me fom getting a C2.

Hello AlexLX, sorry for the confusion. Please dont start connecting your C2 handbrake wire to a earth or negative connection!!!! and that goes for you aswell, malcolmhire2001.

I was refering to the stereo's HANDBRAKE wire. Because with a DVD/TV player you normally need to connect the stereo's HANDBRAKE wire to the vehicle's handbrake so the stereo knows if you have the handbrake on or not.

why would the stereo need to know that?!

Hello jaimz, If you wire up the stereo's handbrake wire to a earth or negative connection, it will fool the stereo to think that the car is parked up and you will be able to play DVD/TV while the car is in motion.

fair enough, although that is illegal but cool nonetheless (but not condoned by the C2 Club ;))
