I know C2 sports are part of the SSC so they will be together but as long as
that club have no objections we could try to put you next to each other.

Oh that would be fantastic!

C2SC and SSC are run as separate forums but share staff, because of the high turnout for either side the stand is usually a big one and either side can spread out quite well.

However there was a lot of wasted ground directly in front of the C2SC & SSC stands last year which at last three or four clubs could have fitted into with the same spacing as the C2SC/SSC had on theres.

plus like i said above, if we are too close, once people have walked past thats pretty much the end of the C2s isnt it, you dont really see many when you are walking around apart from C2SC and C2C

suppose the problem that we have if we are not close like last year is that alot of people use both sites and so will have to choose a stand, problem is if most people go to one or the other then the other stand looks a bit pathetic. Thats why next to each other or quite close would be a good ideas IMO, we will both have stands so people should be able to tell the difference

totally agree with chambers there. is a lot harder to meet everyone who uses both sites or even meet people off the other site if the stands are miles away. i can understand people saying that if we are together then thats it for the c2's but in my personal opinion i would rather have the c2s near eachother so that there is plenty of banter or whatever.

Update from Mark at FCS... To anyone interested in track time at FCS 2008.

Hi Danny

Just a quick update as to what's what with track time. As this is
a general email to all clubs; please ignore if you have been
discussing track and have been invoiced,

Most of the track slots have been reserved by clubs BUT we do have
some left. We have 40 x 30 minute slots left out of 420 slots.

If any of your members are after track time, it doesn't matter if
it's one to forty slots; get in touch as it's disappearing fast.

If you would like to reserve space for your club please get in touch
ASAP.

This year we are using the awesome 2.6 mile full international
circuit which includes infield, part oval and grandstand straight.

PS news hot of the press, we have hired Paul Swift, car stunt driver
for lunchtime entertainment.

Unfortunately, I wont be attending this years show due to being in France for a few weeks here and there over the summer, plus various trips to Malaga and Lanzarote as I prepare to move, so am skint lol.

If you want a camping site for FCS, i can give you the details for the place I stayed at last year with a fair few.

Its 25 mins drive from Corby with Asda, 10 mins from Oakham with Tesco, 20 mins from Rockingham and has some great roads to play with surrounding it.

It costs £6 per person per nite, tent size doesnt matter, shower facilities (not that great, but they do the job for a night) toilets and a pub is up the road, though is expensive ish.

Agreed. I didnt enjoy it last year very much, its nice to see people off of here but the show itself is carp, thats why i didnt go. I was actually undecided wether to go, and i thought last night if i get up and the weather is hot ill go, but it was peeing down so didnt bother.

I reckon if they changed the date to middle of July or something when the weather is generally a bit better they would get a better turn out.

Just got back home (15 mins ago) and I am knackered.
The show itself was poor but the peeps there (C2 owners) were fantastic.
Den, Em, Chris, Chambers & mrs Chambers, Dean VTS, Madmat, and
others I cant remember names of who were on the club stand are
all awesome peeps.
The dark side peeps Clive (my road buddy) Luke,Craig,Bump,Elemental ets
are also awesome peeps.
I had a great laugh today and that pic of me sleeping in the boot of the VTS
is soooooooo funny, I didnt realise I was out for about half hour.
Jimbos right I am an old git who cant handle it :)

Big up to SAG & ELLIS for having their cars on the show stands.
An even BIGGER up to SAG for getting the front page of that car mag, awesome Sag 10/10
