For people travelling from the north down to the WMSP

Northerners / Midlanders meeting at Hilton Park Services 9.00-9.45am
Southerners and Welshies have arranged there own convoy points....

Meet at the Park on the drive down to the pay-in gates for 10.30am-11.00am (Park Opens at 10am)

We will drive around the open enclosures again in convoy followed by a look around the small animal enclosure on foot.

Wasn't anything really wrong with the pub, just I only informed them of half the numbers, my fault, but at least they gave us a free round of drinks to make up for the slow service. ;-)

The place has changed hands since then, and had all new staff, also a full make-over. Place has been extended and looks different inside.

Easy to get to anyway Jaimz, Go past it on the North Bound then off at next Junction 11 about 1/3 mile then rejoin South and straight off again to the South-bound Hilton Services.

I have already ensured I ahve the day off for work that is why I set that day. Also on my door step only 25mins away. So no matter what I will be there.

Will be contacting WMSP in January to sort out prices.

(Also I have only missed 1 meet that I sorted, and I gave my reasons for that :-) )

What a nightmare I am having at getting the discount with the WMSP.

They are saying to get the discount this time we must all turn-up in a BUS, lol.

I am now on my 5th E-mail to sort out the price, so far it is down to £8.00 per person with a free return ticket. (What use it that to 90% of people)

But bear with me and I will get it sorted.

I live in Kidderminster so it would be fairly easy for me to get there, but two problems... I'm not 17 until June, so no car yet, so not sure if I'd be able to come.

Although it would be an opportunity to meet some people, since I'll be going to meets once I've passed and got a car.

Still working on the discount for the meet, but at present they are not budging on the price, will be giving them a ring later today to see I can get them to move on the price.

The problem they say is that the discount that we had before was a mistake and should only have been given to us if we had all turned up in one car/bus. They are still insisting that we will have to pay either full entrance price each (£10ish per person) or to get the group discount have 50+ people and buy all tickets up front.

No joy at all with the discount, the WMSP still insists we must have 50+ people and pay for all the tickets in advance. (Which I will not do due to no gaurantee of every one turning up) Will continue to pester them for a reduction of some sort. But at this moment its stuck at the price quoted.

Unfortunately Corporate Tickets can not be purchased on the day. Corporate tickets are only available by pre-purchasing 50 or more. You will need to distribute them before you arrive because we can't allow large numbers of cars to congregate on the drive as it will block lanes and cause large queues.

If you arrive on the day without corporate tickets your guests will be charged £10.50 per person.

Alternatively your member can buy discounted tickets through our website.

Yes the Disco has a 90ltr Fuel tank so at the average price today of £1.08ltr Derv = Just over £97.00 to fill to the brim.

And @ 27 mpg (5.94mltr) Approx 535 miles out of a tank. (18.5p per mile)

Think I discussed all about the problems I was having negociating back on page 2/3

All prices are on first page / first post, WMSP won't move on costs unless now we buy in bulk of 50+, so the price is fixed to normal entrance price.

£10.50 per person with free return ticket (RETURN WHENEVER WITHIN A YEAR)

Also all meeting times are now ammended to allow for us to turn up just after gates open.

thinking about coming to this was it a good day out last time?Last-time it was my first meet and I got to put faces to names, it was a small meet lasttime and we got to drive around the park and see the WILD animals, also the ones in the park. had a look around the small creatures area and have a good chat. Went to the pub later and had a good laugh and meal, just remember it is a Sunday afternoon and most pubs will strugle with the amount of people to serve in one hit, so please be patient with them. Small photo shot aswell. If its your first meet then feel free to join it, later in the year when the weather is warmer and there are more attractions open hope to hold a larger meet.

Most Satnavs know where the WMSP is, I have used 3 Satnavs now (SONY,GARMIN,NAVMAN) and they all take you directly to the front door of the Park.

Love the idea of the LED Scroller ;-)
