South Wales Meet (Sun 2nd Dec)

Its been about 6months or so since the last meet, the first and only meet i have been to. And i have noticed that there are alot more members joined up from the south wales area and thought it would be a good idea to have a meet and organise doing something one day on a weekend..

I have not thought of what we could do yet, just wanted to see how many peeople would be interested first and then we could organise what the majority of people would like to do.. Also as for a date then whatever suits the majority of people may be just before christmas, if not as it may be inconvenient with all the chrimbo shopping, then how about the start of the new year..

So if you are interested in coming along then pop your name down, even if your across the bridge your welcome to come, more the merrier..

How about the Gtec tuning meet. every 1st sunday of the month and there are alot of members of that club all over Wales. Always people from Swansea and Cardiff are come along

Well i was thinking of either the 1st or 2nd weekend in december. was thinking of something similar to the last meet. go to cardiff and have a few games of bowling, go the the indoor chineese buffet and then go for a blaze in the cars..

If anyone has any other ideas please let me know.. and if the dates are inconvenient then maybe can sort out another date..

Well glad so many people have put their names down to attend a few new members aswell..

What i would like people to let me know is what weekend would be easiest for them to get to and also wether the saturday or sunday.. The weekends are:

Sat 1st Dec
sun 2nd Dec
Sat 8th Dec
Sun 9th Dec

I thought that a good location to meet would be the toby grill just off jct 30 of the m4 not far from cardiff bay, so dont have to go far to the bowling and chineese, if thats what people would like to do.

As for a meet time being there are a few people who may br traveling 2-3 hours drive then not too have them leave too early in the morning how about meeting at approx:12.00

Any suggestions or ideas please post them, and let me know which dates are most suitable..

I know the location and bowling is the same Rob, dont know what else to do being that the noghts are drawing in. I would take you up the shooting ground but it will be way to cold and cant garantee good weather, may be another meet in the summer, if anyone has any suggestions on another location or ideas on what we could do please post them

Nice to hear from you mikey thought something was wrong. The main meeting place is the toby Grill which is no longer called that, forgot what is called now, but we are also meeting at Jct 30 services, then heading to the Toby to meet others and have a drink there.

Chris, no need to meet you somehwere to give you the grill is there, i will see you at the meet.lol. May be a stupid question but are you and craig travelling together or travelling in seperate cars?

Your looking at about 10mins, then about 5 mins from the grill to the bowling alley..

I suggested to meet at the Toby Grill as this is where we met before and we went in and had a drink, but if everyone wants to it would be easier to all meet at Jn 30 Services, can have a natter there and hopefully it will be good weather, the carparks are quite big so should beable to find a quite place to take a few shots with the camera. Then go straight from there to the bowling alley. Can have a coke and few games, then move on to the chineese buffet..

Would say 12.00 meeting at Jn 30 be ok for everyone?

Dudes, that was a top day dispite it being an awful weather day.
There were 3 C2's and one Nissan SX that turned out in the rain.
A BIG UP to Vtr Chris Uk and his mate Steve for doing the distance to the
meet, you got a top car there dude.
Gareths (welshC2) new paint job & smooth doors looked soooo good 10/10
As always its cool to see Mikey54d but is car makes our 1600's look like
they are 1.1L heeeheeheehee.

Gareth won the first game of bowling by 1 point and I won the second by
such a huge score ( you guys are pooooo heeheeheehee.)
Had a Chinese meal after the games and that was awesome, anyone visiting Cardiff
should go to that place, excellent food at an excellent price.

It was a good meet and had a laugh when blazing around Cardiff.
