The last C2 meet I went to was a rubbish turn out...
I want to plan another one, a place that has a good track record of meets and is in a good central location!

Plus there is a lot of new/newish members that have not been to a club meet yet...

Meet and wait for late members, have a good chat,

Go for a drive to a Pub for some lunch (pub TBC)

Take some pics - head off home!

Agree, If we had a magazine at the meet and the meet had the numbers that have been seen at the last couple of meets (i.e. Santa Pod, Cat and Fiddle), it would be an embarrasment for the club and a waste of time for the magazine.

Meets shouldn't need incentives like Magazines and special cars, its all about getting together and having a good laugh and a couple of drinks, not the 5 mins of fame.

Good to meet Stevie and our youngest member Stephen, and see all old faces, good meet I say. Needs to be done again in the Spring/Summer, when the weathers nice and more people will make the effort to come.

Me and Jaimz are now planning on getting battered 2nite...well I am, Jaimz is a little worse for wear atm haha.

800 miles done in it now too, including the smelly burn down the M56 to meet Jimbo, wont be thrashing it like that for a while :lol:

Bah no pics of my car, shabby. Wouldn't want to outclass you all though I suppose. Was good to see a few old faces and a couple of new ones too. Cat and fiddle was ace, managed to get some very nice drifting action on the wet roads - not totally intentionally either - gunned it through a left hander suddenly rear end is trying to overtake the front, bit of corrective oversteer sorted that though- scared Jim a bit though I think hehe.

Isn't the HDi engine a fair bit heavier? Probably why it's lower.

Like everyone has already said - was nice to meet some new ppl and meet up with some old ones again.

Hope nobody minded me feeding my son when he became hungry. I must admit before we left I was a bit aprehensive about his first feed in public, but when I did feed him I didn't feel to uncomfortable about doing it. Helped as nobody batted an eyelid with me doing so. But then again I do have the law on my side and cannot be asked to leave an establishment because I want to breastfeed my baby!!! ;)
