View Full Version : tyre pressure
what psi do people fill up their tyres to? mines are 17" and i usually fill them upto 35 psi but wasnt sure if this is too much or too little
2.2 Bar whatever that is in PSI, think its about 32.

2.3 bar!
Feels better on track more grip and slightly less tyre wear.

Haven't put any air in mine yet since i got them,
i really should check them lol
but thanks guys. when i do, I'll know what to put in 32psi / 2.2 bar
saying that my boot load is going to be fair heavy when the sound system gets put in. but i have removed the spare wheel so it might even it out?
I might weight the spare and carriage and the boot build and compare them.

Sometimes.
It also says on the Doorshut (Passenger Side) .. Or atleast it does on my VTR.
p.s I know it's a dead old post but I was just checking 32psi was right

well i jst blew mines up for the first time, 2.4bar (35psi) was recommended on the door sticker of my GT - steering is a lot smoother now, possibly because one of the tyres had 1.5bar in it and the rest 2.0... 8O
