High Mileage?

I was wondering who has the highest mileage C2? and has it needed much attention, i.e repair bills etc?

I know the C2 hasnt been out that long so i guess were not talking big mileage but it would be good to know how a higher mileage car is doing.

Cant really comment yet myself as ive only done 102 miles :lol:

15 months and 5800 miles for me. My mum has 10200 in 15 months on her Pluriel though, but we have just had the 1500 mile service on both so far.

after the wales meet mileage now on 5508 since march 2005, pretty much everything rattles, steering wheel vibrates over 80 mph, seat wear, lining under dashboard is dropping off, poor clutch bite/feel but i still love it. lol

The common 'VTS whistle', it was inflicted with that, a hole in the floor of my boot, the rattly window which is going to be fixed this week I'm told. I think thats it actually

Just over 20,000 miles. Only problems I have had so far was the squeaky brakes, and the switch in the gear box that turns the reversing lights on wasnt working, all sorted now.

3 yrs old, 55,000 miles - just had the gearbox, differential and driveshafts replaced after they all broke themselves and today is gettingthe anti roll bars replaced cos theyre worn.

Lucky for some :lol: I had new rear disks and pads just after 8000 i think (Spetember) Due to brake squeeking Since then had the brake mod fitted which has cured it just about.

I was lucky and never had the problem with the squeaking brakes :) iv never really had any problems with the car except for self inflicted ones :(

Mine is 3 years and 2 months old, its done 70,000 miles and its ready for the scrapyard. The whole thing is falling apart and it needs some major work doing on it. My advice to you all is, when you start getting high mileage like mine get rid asap because everything on these cars costs a fortune.

I always lock the glovebox and put the satnav either in the boot compartment or leave it at home, but if someone was really desperate, I'm sure the glovebox's lock is pretty easy to break. Citroen quality and all that...:roll:

my cars a 53reg car... i didnt pick mine up til march 04 though it it only had 2miles on the clock!
problems ive come across to date are

new valve springs,
cracked the outer casing on my gearbox therefore new gearbox,
both bottom ball joints,
bottom engine stabaliser,
top engine mount,
new starter motor,
snapped manifold,
faulty lamba sensor

and pierre is still fighting strong today.. reckon he needs a new clutch though soon and some new discs and pads so if anyone can reccomend after market uprated parts then please send me a pm of any good items for example.. grooved and drilled discs blah blah blah

My VTR was a year old at the end of Jan, i have had it nearly a month and it now has about 2050 miles on the clock,

What im more interested to know is nowadays, i see almost double the fuel consumption on the car which scares me.. After 2000rpm, it starts to blow up to 10 and 15 litres per km.. looks worse when i floor it.. the meter gets stuck @ 20.4litres per km !

Got an 05 plate C2 1.4 HDi van, bought it in oct 07 with 41,000 on clock. Now done 49,000. Had new clutch only days after buying it and now an ABS sensor has gone. Thank heavens for the 3yr 100,000 mile warranty on vans!

Now 45,800 miles in 3 year 1 month.
No repair costs at all, just 2 things on warrenty.
Oh and normal wear and tear on tyres.

In that time the only warranty work I have had to have done are

New Front Bumper Skirt
New Driver's Side Seat Cushion
New Hand Break Handle as button was getting jammed.
