Sorry to bring this one back to life..
I used some lovely old polish which made it look lovely but there is still a load of black grime at the brim of the exhaust..
1) I dont know what it is or how to get rid of it??
2) Could it be something to do with the little bugger spitting petrol out the exhaust when the car is cold and just been started??

Any ideas??

autosol, ive used megs metal polish and it was no where near as good i used to use it on my frame and swingarm on my bike as that was chrome and it worked perfectly
