One2one remember them now (T-Mobile), i was with them for a couple of years at 16-18yo then went on o2 pay and go for about a year 02 contract 250 3 years then down to 100 1.5 years, now back on 02 pay and go.

so o2 mainly with very little problems with network even when working in Thurso/Wick Scotland.

I have a Sony Erricson T630 i want to upgrade but the phone serves its purpose and my needs as long as it makes calls, sends texts and can use the bluetooth for when need it when driving its fine.

I will upgrade when i dies.

Danny

GaryGT
30-11-2005, 03:37 PM
no so much anything wrong with it i'm just not to keen on it. when you slide it up its abit stiff unlike other samsung slide phones. personally i think the d500 has more features and looks better too.

Danny
30-11-2005, 03:45 PM
But i imagine the D500 is twice the price?

GaryGT
30-11-2005, 03:46 PM
urm not sure its quite an old phone now. the upgrade to that is out now i think d600 maybe. not sure. d500 will be free on contract i reckon

Danny
30-11-2005, 03:48 PM
E350 is 99.99 on Orange, which is the best price i could find.

I'm thinking of the new Panasonic VS6 or Motorola L6 or L7 for myself at xmas :D

My work phone is on TMobile. It's a SonyEricsson P900 which has a stylus/touch screen, camera and video, MP3, Bluetooth, email client, web browser, calendar etc. It's pretty powerful. I posted on this site from the camping meet via the browser.

Mrs DG was on Virgin (which also uses the TMobile network) but there's no signal where we live, and they can't get permission for an aerial. So we've just changed to Tesco Mobile which is on O2 and is a decent signal. She's got a SE K300i which has camera, video, browser and email. Not a bad little tool actually. I've re-simmed her old Nokia 3510i which is basic but still works! We are low users so not much point going on contract.

Danny
30-11-2005, 08:00 PM
Rachel wanted the SE K300i till she some some better ones lol

I am currently using a 3510i, as i sold my SE K750i to make way for a new one, cant decide which though :?

Jaimz had a K750i at the camping meet. Looked pretty good. Similar functionality to the P900 but with a flash.

bobrob
02-12-2005, 10:58 PM
You can't really go wrong with a Samsung. Had the D500 for 6 months now and never had a problem with it - even tho it's been dropped a fair few times. Thats the only problem with tiny phones, theyre really easy to drop!

Its no Sony Ericsson K750i (which I have just got rid of) but its okay for what i need, calls and text mainly. has bluetooth, camera, video capture, very slim and looks great :)

Doesnt come with a USB cable or software though!

You can even use it as a walkie talkie type thing if someone else has the same or compatible phone :)

c2rob

Poor quality phone, signal is not the best towards Nokia/Motorola and the battery does not last 1 full day, as it is 3g phone, and i have it in 2g signal, i am lucky to have the phone alive for half a day at the most if in 3g mode.

c2rob
03-12-2005, 08:52 PM
