Don't get me wrong here, im not really a games geek, but i do love my footy games, and the above two are the best around. Just wondered which everyone prefers. :) I have got Fifa, as i prefer the "experience" - i.e. commentary, realistic teams, passing, but i can appreciate that PES is better for ball control and scoring!. Just wondered what you all thought?

Only played fifa and that was 2005 so i would buy the fifa if any, xbox of course! :)
VTS you play psp ?
xbox..... hmmmm..... im also a Playstation man! dunno why but its playstation and PC for gaming for me!

It is like new tbh, never hardly use it. gonna sell it soon if you know anyone ;)
It's the Crystal version with about 6-7 games and 2 crystal controllers, boxed as new :)

Even if the Xbox 360 is coming out.......... I know a good forums that may help you sell it for decent price if you fancy selling over a forum!

Well playstation 3 is hopefully getting a better chip than the xbox 360 so i wouldnt say xbox better on graphics!
Yeh im keen on the PS£ aswell.... no doubt will have an order when i see them in stores :D
Wondered if you had PSP as it has infrastructure so if you had wireless connection then could of had a game!

well i like playing comp games and i have a feeling this thread could start an arguement,first of all imo fifa is very over rated and is nothing compaired to pro evo. i have it on xbox and love it.

Yeh many arguements i feel coming up..... little things about pro evo that bug me and main is the names!
"Michael oven" up front
"Steve givard" in mid
"Gary nerverwill" at back

Those names take the mick, obviously dont have the rights to use the correct names :(

i best not comment anymore in here i will get angry :D. as for the names most have been changed on the new one, only a few international clubs have the wrong one's. (mine doesn't because i changed them :D )
fifa has all offical names kits ect but i just think the gameplay and how realistic pro evo is compaired to fifa that pro evo is the best. (gary walks away)

right to be honest i have neevr sat down and played pro evo as i just think i was born to play fifa! Mayb its becuase i jsut play so many EA games i respect EA more than others! but im sure pro evo is good fun also but i like commentry as someone has already said and if pro evo has it im sure they just make random names up..... ?

I have played both, and agree with Gary to an extent - i know the way the game flows in pes is the nutz, and the positions you can get in are better, but i just love the passing and attacking options that fifa gives. plus the general game set-up, including the management feature. Im not saying one is rubbish, i like them both, i just get more enjoyment from fifa - but i can see that if you can master pes, it could be more rewarding ;-) maybe im just not good enough for pes :-(

personally wouldnt purchase a footy game these days, but i was a fifa boy back in the day, 95-99 iirc

Its Gotta be Pro Evo! Used to play fifa all the time when i was a youngin but pro evo is so much better! Its perfect for a lads night in with a few cans and a Pro Evo League on the go with a wager on for the winner!!!
Been playing on pro evo 5 Online on the PS2 recently, its amazin, doing quite well but there are alot of good players around europe!
