Silver C2 *New Photos of 18's on* Updated spec list & photos

Hello everyone

I have had my C2 for about three weeks now so I thought I better make a post at last after reading through the forum for a while.

Mine is a silver 1.4 Furio.

Already I have a CIT Tuning body kit on it and have had the mirrors, door handles and front grill colour coded. I also had tints all round but had to remove my front ones when I got stopped by the police last week.

I got the car lowered 50mm today and rims are coming next. Here it is before it was lowered with the spraying complete, I will get some daylight pics up soon to show what it looks like 50mm lower.

I am looking at rims everyday its such a hard decision to make though, I really need to get a set bought as they wont be long on the car before I have to take them off for the winter!

Yes the ugly fucks have to be displayed for a year after passing your test. The big red 'R' is for 'restricted'.

R in northern ireland means lots of bad things :( :

- can't go over 45mph on any road that a driver without R plates can
- 6 points instead of 12 and its bye bye license
- police know ur a new driver esp. if car has mods etc, so they will look to get u at any chance.
- and i knoiw u think u get it bad over there, but an R plate driver over here, forget cheap insurance!!!!

i want toora T940 in 18" but don't come in that size:( so for now the white rims will do.

Getting rid of that huge spoiler next and replacing it with a nice small lip type one.

Have rims ready to buy but might not put them on until the beginning of the year when the salt is cleared off the roads.

Also an exhaust system, perhaps powerflow. Over the winter I will be working on an install aswell.

The C2 VTR in Southern Ireland is our C2 Furio en't it but with VTR Alloys. I seen one on Citroen Ireland Web Page as northern Ireland in Citroen UK

and yes in REPUBLIC of Ireland their top model is a 1.4 vtr, which is a UK spec furio equivilent.

The rims are bolted on for the photos but I cant put them on for real yet as I am waiting on a spacer kit arriving to sort out the off set problem. When the arrived I thought they looked quite massive, but the C2 can soon swallow a set of 18's :lol:

I actually have some serious ICE waiting to be installed. I had it in my 106 (pic above)

Only new edition I have bought recently is a full infinity reference component set, aswell 2 extra mids. I plan to have 2 mids in each door, so 4 overall aswell as 2 tweeters. I am going to mount the crossovers in the door aswell. From the 106 I have 2 kicker square solobaric 12" subs 1000w each, prob 2 of the loudest subs money can buy. I have the amps to run these and 2 other amps to run the components. Few other bits of ICE to be installed aswell like my alpine headunit. Should be one loud C2 when Im finished, its just finding the time at the moment to make a quality sub box and door builds :)

It came on the car mate, I have never liked it, and to be honest I have been waiting on the police to pull me so I can take pleasure in pulling it off lol. Going to replace it with smaller dark tinted one soon :)

What was yours?

Mine are 2 12" Solobaric squares, I had them in my 106 and was very happy with them. Are you sure it wasnt your amp that was lacking? The RMS of these subs are massive so you need a daddy of an amp to power them and take full advantage of the loudness. When set up properly and running on full power, these subs are some of the loudest on the market :D

whats the arch clearence like at the back between top of tyre and arch ?

im looking to lower my 1.1 and im undecided on whether to go eibach (which you have?) or GMC, but i dont want my car sagging too low at the back (custom springs up front).

I have 18" wheels and about 30kg of ICE in the boot so im thinking GMC might go abit too low for what i want

In that case Eibach will be fine! I haven't had any problems with them.

Just now noticed the car, it looks amazing...I like the rims but in my opinion, put atleast 20mm spacers on the rear...Becouse the line of the wheel is 2much into the car, if u get my point...Other than that...amazing

Yes I know what you mean however I have a problem adding more spacers. As the wheels are multi-fitment, they have an Allen key type insert to tighten the bolts with, so the bolts are a special kind and they only come in the normal length, so If I add more spacers I can not source the correct bolts that will be long enough to tighten the wheels on.
